Wake up Malaysia!!!
The way forward is to revoke their scholarships so that we can move forward and fund people who truly deserve it. We are suffering from inflation in Malaysia and might soon end up as a country that is bankrupt.
Another thing that bothers me is the distribution of scholarships to study in private colleges. Has the government themselves lost faith in the public universities? They money they spend overseas will benefit the world and not us. Whereas the money spent on private colleges will hardly benefit the country as many go abroad to make a better living. If only the Government had spent money on public universities instead of wasting it on nonsensical and petty things like this, I'm sure that the standard of public universities will be much higher now than their current state.
What a disgrace. You politicians think that we're better than America. But you're both about the same.
Sorry.... What I wrote was supposed to be for another post. Not that I editted out something.

Just an example of decisions that has the potential to change your life.
After A levels, I have to decide. Sometimes I'm just scared that I'll make decisions that I'll regret for the rest of my life.
It's no longer the times when we could take up Accounts for SPM, don't do well and it's okay.
I've seen people make decisions and end up regretting over their wrong choices.
Help.

I remember back in school not many of my classmates wanted to do medicine. In fact, you could easily count the number of boys in my class who wanted to be doctors with your two hands.
Well that certainly changed when I stepped foot in MCKL. It's as if everyone doing science wants to be a doctor. True, there are a lot of brilliant kids. Fine. They can definitely do it. But what about the so-so ones or the downright bad?
There's this guy, an aspiring doctor, whom I know who suddenly asked me,"How to calculate the number of moles ar?" What the hell???? Even an Indonesian maid can do that! I know some of you reading this might say,"Bloody f***tard with a f***ing big ego."
Maybe I have. Maybe I don't. However it just annoys me when someone says that they want to be doctors. And it's the one who has no clue what osmosis is. My point is that medicine is not an easy thing. You either have the brains for it or you don't. It annoys me even more when they've already know what they want to specialize in. Someone in my class apparently already knows that he wants to be a neurologist. Well, God bless you. My dad told me that it's one of the hardest fields in medicine. Trying to determine which receptor is causing what. Which drug can stimulate a certain receptor without stimulating the other. And he failed his AS. So my question to this guy is,"How are you going to survive med school when you can't even do A-levels? Skipping classes doesn't show that you have the commitment for becoming a doctor."
I'm not saying all this in the name of selfish reasons whatsoever. I'm also not saying that because I come from some hierarchy where all the men in my family are doctors. I'm just annoyed that people want to be doctors even though it clearly shows that your results simply suck and you don't have the personality to be one. You suck.
Parents. YES!!! Parents!! You are to be blamed too!!!! You want your children to be doctors even though they might not agree to it. But no... You want to brag to other parents how awesome your child is. A doctor from some random Indonesian university. Now that's more respectable than some kid who studied Philosophy and History in Cambridge. In the eyes of some parents the answer is,"Yes! You stupid kid. Study History." They just failed to look at the fact that the poor chap studied in CAMBRIDGE. I'm not saying all are. I can proudly tell you that my parents let me be whatever I want.
Like my dad told me,"You can do the country a good thing by not becoming a doctor."
With what I said you might think that it's everyone's fault that they want to be doctors. But the Government is just at fault or even more screwed up. We might have a shortage of doctors now. However if you just keep churning out more and more doctors you end up with an overflow of doctors. You can't train a doctor overnight, you know. One day we'll probably end up like India or Indonesia.
"At the rate we are producing medical graduates, it will not be long before my experience in Jakarta becomes the norm here. In Jakarta, I was in a cab and the cab driver is a medical doctor. When asked why, he said, "Too many doctors, not enough jobs."
-From some random post I found online and I fully agree from this statement.

"...Izzarul stopped to chat with Davies and her friend while out jogging in the park. She accused Izzarul of touching her breast and putting his hand up her skirt, allegations that he had denied... Izzarul said: "I was in a daze when the jury declared the verdict. I was not listening. My translator said bagus, bagus (good, good) and then I realised I had been acquitted."
The Malay Mail
Let's read it again.
"...Izzarul said: "I was in a daze when the jury declared the verdict. I was not listening. My translator said bagus, bagus (good, good) and then I realised I had been acquitted."
Again...
"...My translator said bagus, bagus (good, good) and then I realised I had been acquitted..."
My gosh, how terrible his English is. And he is a 2nd year student in Wales!!! W-A-L-E-S... WALES!!!! You never pay attention in class ar???
Mr. Prime Minister.. Could you please consider on your switch for teaching Science and Math in English?

Face it. A levels is almost over. It's a fact. I've never regretted a single moment in MCKL. Friends, the college, CF (only until Steven stepped down), everything. I know some will definitely disagree with me (isn't it, Joyce?) I can say it was fun. Sen Yang, Tristan, Brians, Wei Ren, Leng-Lei, Ming Hui, Joyce, Chng Hoay, Ithrana, Philip, Charles, Vincents, Wei Han, Eng Hoe, Mei Cheen, Anishkha, the list goes on and on. I don't think that I would have enjoyed my A-levels if I had gone to Taylors or HELP. I wish those 16 months would pass slowly but no matter what, the 16 months are going to end anyway. And time flies when you're having fun. So to all. Thank you. My life has never been so much more colourful without all of you. Hopefully we can meet up real soon before most of you guys go off to UK.
Time to study. A2's gonna be a hell lot harder than AS. Ciao.
Will blog again after exams

The answer is elementary, my dear friend.
It's because TNB didn't receive any payment for March. So they fucking cut the power supply!!!! Holy shit!
And now they're taking their bloody sweet time to fix it back after the slip up.
What the hell, man!! I've got to study.

Went out with the Brians and Wei Ren to watch Kick-Ass on Monday. It's pretty awesome because it's not your regular movie-based-of-a-comic-book movie. That makes it even greater. And the most amazing thing happened. Went back to my apartment. Realized that I left my student card in the cinema. But where? Slept and went back to Mid Valley after 4 hours to look for it, and voila! It's there! My student card was still in the cinema hall!
God's grace.
Another update:
Fusball table in college is now RM1 for 5 balls!! Woohoo!

"[With] Eleven men [we had] no problem, but the young boy [Rafael] showed a bit of inexperience but they [Bayern] got him sent off, everyone sprinting towards the referee, typical Germans."
-Sir Alex Ferguson
How German can you get when it was Ivica Olic (Croatian), Bastian Schwensteiger (German), Mark van Bommel (Dutch) and Franck Ribery (French) that confronted the referee? At most 1/4? Typical Fergie.
"It is hard to understand the press. Someone told me that coming back from the Champions League final in Rome last year they were all delighted on the press bus that we lost. They were absolutely pleased that we lost; the English press. The person who told me was disgusted. That is a fact. He had no reason to lie to me. Our performance on Wednesday was fantastic. At 3-0 it could have been 5-0. We were magnificent. Absolutely magnificent. But that gets lost just because people want a headline out of what I said about the Germans. That is disgusting because the players deserved some praise."
-Sir Alex Ferguson again
Not that we can do anything about him so that he changes. You can't teach an old dog new tricks, you know.

What am I going to after I finish whatever I want to do.
At first I thought that I knew what to do.
Now I don't.
All thanks to all these so called "unavoidable circumstances".
I guess the one above has been dropping hints everywhere before hurling bolts into what mattered the most.
Everything I asked for. Never answered....
Except something. You actually gave it to me. Even though it was something I had low hopes on because everything else seems to have failed. I've never been so happier in my life. But it seems that I might have to part with it soon.
Please don't take it away from me.

MUAR: Fifty members from Muar PKR division have resigned and joined Umno.
Muar PKR Youth vice-chief Razali Jaafar, who represented the members, handed over their Umno membership forms to Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin here yesterday.
The handover took place in Kampung Parit Tengah after an event which saw 1,500 trays of nasi ambang – rice for four people eaten from a tray – being served to the villagers.
The feat got them into the Malaysia Book of Records.

It puzzles me a lot. It really does. People say how badly they think their work will turn out but in the end, it turns out really, really good. Really good. Excellent! Amazing! I doubt they even worked their ass off during that one month break. I did. But looked what happened? The wrong people got their dues! It's so mind boggling that people are given credit for what they've barely done. I thought that I'll do badly. I really thought I did. But I didn't think it'll be this bad.
What the hell?
I know that you'll carry me through. I really do. Sometimes the most logical reason is to abandon you. But I'm not going to. I still have my confidence in you that you'll carry me through. So tell me, are you?
I know that the answer is that you will. Just as you said.
Whatever happens, it's up to you.
You call the shots.

And my sister is comming here this Sunday.
That's it for my short, short update.
Saturday, March 13, 2010
No matter how hard I try.
It's never good enough.
And I have to let someone suffer because of my shortcomings.
I mean, let her celebrate her joy. Go. Why worry about me? I'm not worth all the pitying. Why persecute the one that who has brought joy just because the other has brought sorrow. Is it worth feeling any grieve if there is any joy?
Is joy only worth celebrating because it only comes from a certain person and not another? I loathe it. It's despicable. You let me down. You really do.

1. Mum driving me around
I actually liked being ferried around by my mum. When I could drive, I was glad that I could drive. But all the waiting, the time taken to be ferried. It felt like gaining something and then giving something up in exchange. Sure, my mum felt relieved of not ferrying me around. But still, I'll always cherish those times.
2. Volleyball
Dang, I miss volleyball. I can't believe that I'm saying this, but I miss those Sunday evenings. I admit that I sucked at it, but at least I can now pass the ball, and most importantly spike! I can actually spike now haha. To be honest, my hands still feel itchy. Especially now that there's no more volleyball in college.
3. Mr Oon
I miss his classes. You'll never meet a teacher like him. All his "Fuck you" and "Government say too hard" quotes just makes him so entertaining. There was no such thing as a boring class under him. Everyone'll be so amused by his dirty jokes (which I copy from, yup, mine's very much recycled)and how we makes fun of the government and the school principal. Wish that he was my Physics or Maths teacher here in KL. Mr. Oon. You rock!
4. 5Sc1
I miss my class as a whole, actually. Miss the times when we played basketball in our little space, exceeding our PJ time and skipping Add Maths altogether. Good times. Good times.
5. Home
Yes, I miss home. Food, books, computer, the list is endless. I miss my home. I miss waking up from my bed at 7 or 8, go up the hills, then study. Miss that life because its so different in KL now. Sure, I like KL. But the quietness is gone.
6. Cycling around Lake Gardens
A form of exercise, but I miss it.
7. LIE classes
As much as I loved/hated Lit, it wasn't that bad after all. Classes were fun with Mr. Chan, though you wouldn't expect something like Mr. Oon, it was one of the subjects I found worth taking. Yup, it was the good old days when the guys and girls didn't really mix with each other. Although we were 16/17, something Mr. Chan found rather unammusing haha. Song, Ee Lin, Ying Ning, Dharshini, Jivitha, Ly Lyn, I wish that we could have known each other better from LIE but I hope that we'll get to know each other better next time.
8. BK
BK(not to be confused with Burger King, I'm talking about Bible Knowledge) was good. I wish the friends there, the classes especially. Been a while since I met anyone from that class, besides bumping into Sophia at Central. It was great. A very good subject to take. Something I don't regret. Seriously.
9. My radio
Yup. I miss it. But not that much now.
10. Taiping itself
Taiping is a much better place to live in than KL, eventhough I like KL. Taiping still wins flat. 'Nuff said.
Sunday, February 21, 2010
Well done, man.
Hopefully Liverpool wins tonight! Hopefully they'll play much better than against that team that sounds like some STD (Unirea Urziceni, WHAT!!?!??!)

FULL STOP.
Explains why my blog posts aren't so frequent and very short now. When you have no inspiration, be it mocking politicians, grumbling about anything, your mind goes blank. When your mind's blank, you can't do anything. So the only thing to do is to wait. Might take ages. But I think that the wait will be worth it

Happy birthday!!
52 years. You sure have past the half century mark for 2 years, but that doesn't stop you from being a great dad.
You always find time to spend time with us. Unlike those uncles who spend so much time in CRC. I would never have found comics and almost everything I enjoy or have an interest in so interesting because of you. You always were by my side although I screwed up almost all the time, or when you tell me its OK no matter what happens. You're the best dad.
Thank you

Mind the previous post. Was kinda stressed out.
But oh well, we'll see what'll happen come March.
Hopefully its the best.
But while waiting.
I got a week off. Yay! Going back to Taiping. Can''t wait.
Until then

Everything so far has been _____.
Answer:
Disappointing
I don't know if I'm expecting too much, or I'm not doing enough.
Everytime it feels like something great is going to happen, only for it to come crashing down, feeling disappointment.
I remember telling myself,"Try to get 100 for every unit in Maths."
Despite all the effort, I ended up leaving a question blank in C2. But I thought to myself,"It's OK. After all, there's no harm retaking it, right? Hopefully I score full marks for the other 3 units." The next thing you. Bam! You realize that you've just forgotten to put the decimal point right after they invigilator says pens down for another paper. There goes 3 or 4 marks. Just like that. I don't know why this is happening. I thought that it's going to be the perfect chance to show all my relatives how well I can do and be among the top. After seeing all my cousins doing so well in any exam under the sun, it makes me wonder. What happened to me? One is going to graduate in NUS soon, very likely with first class honours. Yet another cousin has just completed her masters in York. Another one is going to end up in any ivy league right after his NS. My other cousin is graduating in May with a degree in economics in the US and probably entering grad school after that. And my cousin who I thought was about my level is now miles ahead of me in everything.
It's hard to see everyone getting praised by all the others. Sure, they just tell me to do my best and its okay. But I can feel the disappointment in everyone. "Why isn't he as good as his father?"
I loathe being born in a family full of smart and intelligent people. Everyone thinks I'm smart. If I am, then everyone else in my whole family is probably 10 times smarter than me. I guess I will never reach anyone's expectations.
At least I have God to turn to. God knows what would happen now if I didn't believe in Him.

Uncle Sam: You must be joking!
Saturday, January 09, 2010
Where its a crime to climb up the Twin Towers, but when you torch down churches, it's OK!
Please lah, you think saying Allah is so holy ar?
For God's sake, all of you are always using it in vain.
Example 1
*knock down a table.
Someone: Ya Allah!!!
Example 2
*shit happens
Someone: Allah!!!
Did you know that last time, the Jews kept the Lord's name so holy that they had to cleanse themselves 7 times before writing YHWH. They don't even dare write His name down 'cause it's too holy.
From The Malaysian Insider
Kuala Lumpur police chief Mohamad Sabtu Osman said it was too early to link the attack on the church to Muslim protests over a High Court ruling allowing the weekly Herald to publish the word “Allah” to refer to God in the Christian context.
“'We are still investigating,”' he is reported to have said.
You blind ar???
Everything is pointing to one thing and you turn the other way. What a great way to be a laughing stock in Europe and America.
1Malaysia baby!!!

N70...
You were the first to go. But you will always be remembered as my first sophisticated phone with every application imaginable. May whichever bugger who stole it (if you did, it's either lost or you took it) enjoy reading the messages that weren't deleted and enjoy stalking my contacts. However, I think you won't like my playlist. All the screamo and hard rock in it.
Motorola L6...
You served me well. 4 years. Sure you were sucky. But you were worth the RM300. Rest in peace.
Time for Christmas shopping. WEEE!!!!!!!

My internet line is now down. So now I'm practically camping in my aunt's house now.
As usual, my studying has made me as always... lifeless.
Well, I'll be going to Penang for the weekend for See Ha's wedding (do you spell her name that way?). Well, she's Uncle Hwa Jen's daughter. Can't remember much about her but I can't blame me. After all, They left when I was 2.
So there you have it. No life. Until then

There goes my time of relaxation and peace. Nah kiddin'
Looking forward to it, really.
Helping out at TWEENS camp(at the expense of 18Up or YLDP) but oh well. Everything comes with a sacrifice I guess. Haven't been very "Pro-Methodist" this year. Didn't go for JS, skipped MYF camp, 'pontenged' TRAC gatherings a few times and now I'm skipping 18Up. Not that I'm complaining. But it should be fun. See you until the 15th.

Behold... A WTF car. Cool eh? Saw it when Sen Yang, Chong Yew and I were on the way to play badminton at Taman Tun. I know... I feel like a jakun posting this up. But what can I say. I'm a Malaysian. And most Malaysians are jakuns. I think.Saturday, November 28, 2009

Just another 4 or 5 days and the semester ends.
Sure, the place sucks big time. But somehow, I've kinda enjoyed my time here at MCKL so far. The grass might look greener on the other side, but in the end, all the grass have the same shade of green. Not to mention that the grass here is cheaper too. Not sure if I want the last 6 months to end as soon as possible or to let pass slowly.

Gone as Director of Studies.

I heart this song.
LYRICS:
How many times
Can I push it aside
Is it time I befriended all the ghosts of all the things that haunt me most
So they leave me alone
Move on with my life
Be certain the steps of left and right don't fight the direction of upright
I'd rather forget and not slow down
Than gather regret for the things I can't change now
If I become what I can't accept
Resurrect the saint from within the wretch
Pour over me and wash my hands of it
It's time to decide
Which is out of my mind
Cause it'll be me unless I put some thoughts to rest and leave some faults behind
I'll watch the glint in my eye
Shine off the spring in my step
And could be blinding depending on the amount of You that I reflect
Cause I could spend my life just trying to sift through
What I could've done better but what good do what ifs do
Oh oh
Oh oh
There's something I should tell you now
Arguably one of Relient K's best song.

How do you make Halogenoalkanes from alcohols?
Shit.

Why the hell would you give that poor fella some hope. After all, all was lost. So why bait him with false hope. Can't you tell him that enough is enough??? Why put the poor dude through more pain? I mean, come on, let the poor bugger get on with his life and not get his hopes all down 'cause of some idiotic thing that made him hopeful again. Fuck you.

It can be something like....
A. Go for NS anyway
B. Skip NS and start A-levels
C. Skip NS and start AUSMAT
Honestly, I really think that should I have chosen B or C, my life would have been by no doubt much happier than choosing A. But with the WMS gang being so cliquish, I wonder if I would make any good friends and be happy at MCKL. Heck, I could end up becoming much more unhappier. I don't know. But I would rather prefer B and C, but oh well, all of it is done.
Another possibility was instead of going in March...
A. Go in July instead of March
B. Go for Form 6
I don't really know about this. My mum was rather dissapointed that I chose to go in March. Since it was exactly 4 days after NS ended. She was the kind that disapproved of finishing your degree earlier or working young. Like those in the last few classes in my school, she rather that I bummed around til July. That would have meant that I go for Form 6 while waiting. But if I had gone for Form 6, chances are my mum would have forced me to stay, especially when she's very pro-Form 6. I don't know what to say about Form 6, but I can definitely say that I'll be very unhappy. Maybe that's why I wanted to go in March so badly. I've got no idea. But I don't know if it was the right decision, the wrong one. Who knows?
No idea what would have happened.

Was very hard for me to speak out. But why you might ask?
Well, I feel like I've lost my purpose. No passion to do anything.
I felt lost. All I did was probably crack a joke or two. But I just couldn't share what was going on.
I feel like I've lost the desire to play the piano, the guitar, anything.

It's like someone up there has been laughing at me.
As if, I'm like their toy.
Toying with me slowly.
They must be really humourous.
Making my life look like a cruel joke.
Why bother the good people?
Can't you bother the bad????
It's always like that.
You all really have nothing better to do, don't you?
All the hypocrites everywhere.
At one point you feel like punching them.
The next thing you know, the become someone completely different.
Why?
Just to impress anyone. Girls, Guys, bosses, lecturers, anyone on top.
You said it.
Screw you man.
And you take the credit for everything.
Blessed are you all.
I hope that all of you will die someday.

Apparently, the lower bunk costs another RM15. So that means another 15 bucks if you're too lazy to go up the upper bunk. Brilliant.
Went to Penang.
Ate lots. But I didn't gain weight =D

I hate you, Datin.
I know that you're unreasonable.
But that doesn't mean you should ask us to do time consuming things like this.
Do you know how long does it take to finish a single mats of yours?
I took 4 hours just to make this. Yes 4.
Don't you know that we have to study and read up a lot. Especially if the students take subjects like Law and English Literature. How about those with Biology and Chemistry?
And don't you dare throw these mats away. I sacrificed so much. Time, time and more time.
Especially if someone is from Taiping, Ipoh, Sungai Petani or the rest of the world.
It's not easy living by ourselves, you know. Taking care of ourselves while doing stupid things like this.
And yes, these mats of yours that came from your brilliant idea doesn't look suitable to be placed on the table as placemats.
They're better off to be used as mats to wipe our filthy feet.

Interrogation 1
Gobind said: "So, you couldn’t tell if his shoes were too loose for him as you didn’t measure his feet.
In this particular case the shoe was found far away from the body. How far was it? (Teohs right shoe was off his feet when his remains were found.)
“I didn’t measure,” Dr Khairul Azman, who is a consultant pathologist with Klang Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, said.
Gobind: It’s good to measure isn’t it? You cannot tell us how the shoe got there. You are in no position to tell us!
Dr Khairul Azman: It could have come off when he fell. Gobind then said that logically, if the shoe was tight, this would not have happened.
Gobind then asked Dr Khairul Azman how he reckoned Teoh had come out of the window and the pathologist stepped out of the witness stand and demonstrated how he thought Teoh had jumped. (While doing so, he demonstrated how he thought Teoh would have stood on the bottom ledge and gripped its top ledge.) When Gobind asked Dr Khairul Azman if there would have been shoe prints or hand prints on the window frame if Teoh had jumped off in that manner, the pathologist agreed, adding that there was a possibility the footprints were not noticed.
Interrogation 2
Gobind: How many MACC officers did you see when you were at the scene?
Zulaimi: About four to five. They were looking from a window of an office premises about five to six feet away from the body.
Gobind: Did you ask them how their witness could have fallen?
Zulaimi: No.
Gobind: Why didn't you ask the identity of the officer who had told you that Teoh was their witness?
Zulaimi: I was not instructed to.
Gobind: Isn't it important to do so?
Zulaimi: Yes. I forgot to do so.
Gobind: Did it ever cross your mind that Teoh could have been pushed or flung out of the building?
Zulaimi: Yes, but after investigations, we learnt that Teoh could have either fallen or was pushed from a window on the 14th floor.
Interrogation 3
Tan: Were there any notes in Anuar's official daily notebook 2009?
Zulaimi: There was only one (entry) on July 8, (on) Wednesday, which states "house/Putrajaya/office Toll RM".
Tan: Were there any notes on July 15 and 16?
Zulaimi: No.
Tan: So, from July 1 to 18, there was only one entry, which was made on July 8?
Zulaimi: Yes.
Tan: Besides Anuar's notebook, did you seize the notebook of any other officer?
Zulaimi: No. I only confiscated Anuar's, but if I am not mistaken, Inspector Shahzrin and Chief Inspector Zakiol did.
Let's read interrogation 2 again:
Moral of the story: Watch CSI. I'm sure Malaysian police can learn a lot from a show like CSI. Very realistic, it seems. Don't worry if you don't understand English. There's always subtitles.

Chong Ren, my friend, you're really something. And you surprise us in many ways.
Back in Form 4, all your efforts were scrutinised by most of 5Sc1 of 2007 as you were left all alone to come up with something for the drama competition. No guidance. No help. Just you. And yes, the drama was an embarassment to everyone.
But that didn't stop you from quiting. Last year, we were much better in terms of experience, maturity, you name it. And we got 2nd.
This time, you really made the whole school proud. Going as far as winning the States!!! With best script. You and Suresh are awesome. Who knew that all of this would actually come true? I'm sure you really got Mrs. Cecilia pissed off and jealous. After all this, you've really matured. I really salute you.
Hopefully we can one day meet up again.
Really, man. Congrats again. I'm sure you'll go far. You sure will.
Keep the Lasallian spirit going!!! Jia yu
But with Yasmin Ahmad, I think thats a different story altogether.
Everyone claiming that Michael Jackson gave them a childhood is bullshit.
Stupid bugger. Molesting small boys and pumping himself with drugs.
I believe Malaysia has lost a wonderful talent. God bless her.

No Malaysian Studies tomorrow!
But I kinda don't mind Datin.
Her classes can actually be interesting. Especially when she brings up racial matters

Wonder how such a case like the late Teoh Beng Hock's can happen in MACC.
I guess the Anti-Corruption agency themselves are corrupted.
You think he want to jump down on his own meh???
Sometimes I wonder why things like this can happen. Such irony. It makes me sick.

This was the score for yesterday's football match.
S0903 - 4
S0807 - 6
Nah, it's not the Man. Utd. against Malaysia match.
You think I'll write about it meh?
I'm a Liverpool fan for goodness sake.

Ern Wei is enjoying the computers in the library, abusing it in every way by using Facebook and Blogger. Perhaps Youtube as well.
Nah. Might not get caught up in the Twitter craze for now. Not until I get myself proper internet connection at home. Yeah, that'll be nice. So far Scott Villa's not bad. Living in a condo with the master bedroom to me and another guy. Though the rent is rather *toot* expensive. Kinda messy too, infested with two-legged rats. Well, more to come. Later that is.
C1 - 72%
What the heck???? The easiest paper and I only get 72???? Pttui. And they call it a free paper.
C2 - 97%
Didn't expect this to happen but oh well.
Chemistry - 70%
Yet another A out of my hands. Which I should have gotten.
Bio - ?
Stupid lazy ass. Haven't even touched my paper.
Physics - 56%
Ultimate bummer. And I thought that I could escape with a B!!!!

You idiots sure have done the right thing.
Way to go.
Changing Maths and Science back to BM.
Bravo.

But I'll write something about my trip back to Taiping and much more other things.

Are you sure?
Really?
You're gonna regret this.
You leave me no choice.
Fine. I'll tell you.
As a safety precaution against the A(H1N1) virus, Methodist College will close until the 1st of July. Yay!!!!

I know, it the artwork sucks. But its good!!!
I don't like the artwork too. But I like it. Can't wait for season 2!!!
The only anime I'm watching so far. Not planning to watch any other anime apart from Naruto and Bleach.
Yes. I'm watching the latest season of Power Rangers. But it's freaking good if I must say so. They even poke fun at themselves.
Not that I watched it all the time. Just that my life has been taken away if it wasn't for these shows. Argh!!!!!

My dad told me about this incident in Lake Gardens. Some guy came down from his bike and asked this person if he was Chinese or Malay. The moment he answered that he was Malay, that guy went over and slashed the poor fella's throat. Scary.
All hell breaks loose.

A tribute to Leong Foo Mun. AC Milan fan. Debater. Classmate. Friend.
I remember when we first became friends. Drawing our own Pokemon comics, playing the computer, the Playstation for hours in our own house. One of my good friends since I was 10. Playing basketball, football, hockey and practically anything under the sun in this nice space in our class. 5Sc1. Now in France. Kinda bummed I didn't get to see him just before he left for Paris. Especially since I didn't get to throw that surprise party with the others for him as well.
Wish you all the best, man.
Really gonna miss you.

Besides studying for my Assesment in July.
But here's a few interesting things to write about.
Medicine in Russia
When government scholarships are mismanaged
Subject Limit
10-Subject Limit for SPM
Wonder whether it will work. But like what Chan Leong said, it's not the number of subjects that should be limited, rather the grading system. That's the main culprit for the Scholarship problem in the first place. Why discourage students from gaining knowledge by taking subjects like Literature in English, Bible Knowledge, Accountancy, Tassawur Islam and possibly any other subject under the sun. If the grading system wasn't as broken as it is now, wouldn't it make more sense? Everyone suddenly getting an A1 for their Add Maths when they were struggling for their lives before that just to pass. I'm sure all those who scored 20 A1s or 21 A1s probably got only 4 or 5 'genuine' A1s thanks to our wonderful grading system. Oh screw it.
Bernie Madoff Scandal
Super sick. Politically correct but very funny.
Coming back to Taiping until the 28th.
But wait!
There's Chemistry practicals to do so I've got to stay in KL/PJ until the 3rd.
What the ******?
And I've missed TUSGC.
Wanted to meet up with all of them but too bad, I couldn't.
Maybe next time. And I need transport to PJ Trinity tomorrow.
Anyone willing to help this kind soul?

The hard part of Chemistry has finally kicked. All the shapes of compounds and stuff in Unit 2.
Biology's still okay. Unit 2 looks promising. Mitosis and stuff.
Math, as usual, can be neglected. Since it's all Form 4/5 Add Maths.
But I haven't been studying? Why?
I thought I did badly for the last Chemistry test and the results certainly don't look like a sign that I should buck up. If you get 45/58 without touching your Chemistry book, does it show that its time to buck up? I don't know.
And I've done the unthinkable. Dropped Accounting and took up Physics. I mean, have I lost my mind? Coming in March means more work to catch up with the January intake and with 7 weeks gone, now I take Physics??? Where's the sense in that?
And yet, I'm still not motivated enough to study.
Screw it.

Guess what?
The hitz.fm cruisers dropped by Brickfields College and some of us MCKLians sneaked in and joined the fun. Fun as in taking the freebies and running off.
Met Leithiga there. Her hair looks noticibly shorter. Because everyone had to play this lame game which we do the opposite, when everyone raised their right hand and said this oath. Super funny:
I swear,
To tune my radio only to Hitz.fm,
And no other radio station,
Especially,
Lalat FM.
Then someone said Fly FM. And pandemonium struck. Everyone started shouting, "Oi!!! Who said the F-word?"

So far everything has been 'okay-la'. Homework, homework and more of that. Besides this, I never knew this that at cinemas you now have show your IC if the movie is 18+. That's because last week, Xian Yung, Kenny and I went to Sunway Pyramid to watch Sniper. Yes, that movie starring I'm-involved-in-a-sex-scandal-because-I-can't-control-my-lust-Edison Chen. Since it was 18SG, they were like,"Show me your IC." Showed it to them and they told me that I can't watch the movie. Why? It's only for those above 18. Not 18 and above. WTF man. I'm like 18+ and I can't get in. **** you, ticket counter guy!!! I'm so not going to TGV anymore.

Just to show my wonderful adventure.
KL Sentral - Masjid Jamek - Pudu (wrong stop and hence, I waste money) - Pudu Raya - Bandaraya - KL Sentral - Petaling.
Maybe I'll have another great adventure someday. Hopefully I can get a ride back from Chan Leong next week. Then it'll be less adventurous and more convinient. Sorry, Chan Leong.

Yay!!!! Revolution is coming to Taiping!!!!!!
Sadly, I can't go. Stuck in KL since its my granduncle's 80th birthday. Wouldn't miss it for anything else. Seems like I'm busy almost every week so far.
Argh. But that doesn't mean that I can miss it. Planning to go for the conference. Yipee!!!

With Oh-so-corrupt-and-I-didn't-get-any-money-from-the-bridge-because-Badawi-stopped-the-project Mahathir back, God knows what'll happen.
Perhaps another many more years of Mahathirism?
Well, can't blame anything. Sure, we had 6 good years under Badawi although all his members were rather a pain in the ***. But since everyone now are a pain in the ***, Who knows what's next?
Take 13 people put of ISA and throw in many more new faces?
I don't know. I might be one of them xD

Met loads of people there. Like........
Tristan
We don't go for the same classes but we hang out on Friday's (CF and after that). Cool guy who's super good on the guitar (always thought that he was a drummer from the way he talked) who I talk nonsense with. Like what Sam said about him and the table at Subway.
Aaron
My other buddy. Same class with him for everything just that he takes Physics but I take Accounts. A fellow Spongebob/Naruto fan. A big fan that he sings the Campfire Song Song and the FUN song.
Adam
Fellow Spongebob fan. Like Aaron, he too takes Physics. Sad. Apparently, I went to the same NS campsite as his church's MYF president. Small, small world.
Brian
Known him since YouthQuake. Same class with him but he takes Law and Physics and I take Biology and Accounts.
Wei Ren
Brian's friend from school eons ago. I pity him since he's taking Further Math. Since the Further Math teacher is the same as our Math teacher. That makes 12 hours with him. Truely tragic.
Felicia Leong
Someone who goes to the same church as Mike Sam and Ian but she never went for any YLDP camps or YouthQuake. Taking the same subjects as her but she takes Psychology and I take Accounts. Part of the Spongebob gang, I think.
Ling Lei
The one who hates Biology. The youngest one in the March intake and also super duper smart. Also part of the Spongebob gang.
Shugan
The one who couldn't understand what our Math teacher was teaching after Ling Lei asked him to speed up. After all, he's sooooo slow. 3 examples in 1 hour. And it's Simultaneous equations. What the????
Shadev
The one who has been the butt of all forms of punishments since orientation. Like Shugan, causes everyone to laugh.
Leo
An MBS guy. Dang cekap at ping pong. but I beat him. Hahahaha
Part 3 will come later.
Oh yeah, I took part in the Treasure Hunt as part of my Community Service and I won an Ipod Shuffle!!!!!
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!
Wednesday, March 18, 2009
Well, all I can say that it's been very busy. Classes starts at 8 and ends at 4. 30. Although I got the timetable everyone envies because on Mondays and Tuesdays I don't have classes until 12. 30 p.m. and 1. 30 p.m. respectively. Got homework on the second day and third day. Waiting for more. So far, I'll say MCKL so far is very good. New friends, new environment, everything new. Ragging isn't that bad. Doesn't live up to the ragging with SGI's 01 LMS Scouts and St. John's Ambulance. Haha.
Well, wish me luck. I'll be spending the next 16 months of my life here, especially when I sit for my exams next June. Will write about my friends another day. SO, that's all from me for now.
Sunday, March 15, 2009
Who cares.
Because Liverpool beat Manchester United 4-1!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thursday, March 12, 2009
After spending 50 days (thats because I had 17 days of MC and one week of Chinese New Year holidays) waking up earlier than the rooster and possibly early enough to wake up the rooster for not waking it up earlier than us, it's very, very, very, very nice to get back to civilization.
Frankly speaking, I didn't really like NS. Yes, I admit, NS is fun. But when you're sick with Chikungunya, struggling to cope with the disappointment that I didn't get to go for JS, the fact that the mission week for JS was in Taiping, my dad's trial, internal conflicts within me. It wasn't easy. And the smoking in my dorm, especially when those ****** smoked in the dorm itself. Did I mention disciplinary action just because only one, YES ONE, did something stupid which was sneaking out to the mamak. I mean, if you want mamak, follow me and the others to church lah! Yes, we buy our own food after church because it ends at 1.00-1.15 p.m.
Not that I want your sympathy. It's just that I can't keep this to myself anymore and I had to spill it out here right now. I became deppressed, and lonely, due to the fact that I found it hard to find friends after losing out 17 days. My deppression was slowly spiralling out of control. I was slowly turning bitter and bitter by the day.
But guess what, God showed me that that wasn't the way to go. And He IS right!
I guess God was testing my faith, just like he did with Job. Seeing if my heart was sincere and whether I only wanted to go for JS just because friends like Tim, Mike, Rosh, Praise, Han Yun, Victoria, Sarah, Alfred, Mellissa and a whole lot more were going, or whether I was hoping for self-praise while in Taiping, after all, Taiping is the place I spent 18 years of my life. Eventhough I never time to think about all of this, I still didn't get to go for JS.
And though the disappointment was so great that I sometimes could cry in the inside, especially during the week the mission week took place, I knew, that by faith, God will lead me out of this trial. And He did!
Reading Purpose Driven Life there reminded me a lot of things. That we're not created for what we want, or for our own purposes, but for Him. Until now I have no idea what was my purpose at NS, I guess one way or another, I might know, someone's life could be impacted.
Church there too was awesome. The people, the messages spoke, especially just last Sunday, when Pastor Sam (the pastor over there) reminded everyone that although the global credit crunch has affected many, he reminded everyone that we should and must remember our blessings, in the form of cash or something else. And yeah, he's blessed me in many ways this past 18 years. And he showed me Wilson, one of my good friends at school, a staunch Buddist, accepted Christ and now worships at EPCC (the church I worshipped at while at NS). He's going for CC (Camp Cameron) as well!!!!!!!! Hallelujah for that!
Well, now that is all over. I'll be heading over to KL this Sunday. Starting a new chapter of my life. It is happening so fast. But I guess it's time to move on, although my poor younger brother is going to miss me like crazy.
By the grace of God, He'll bless me today as I get my results.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Happy 'Niu' Year to all of you.

What I got for my birthday. I got a Liverpool keychain from my dad too. But I didn't have time to take a picture of it.But I can proudly say that the Christmas Relient K from my aunt is my best present.
THANKS!!!!
Saturday, January 24, 2009
Quite lame and boring. Wish that I had deferred but oh well, too late.
Met a few new friends though.
Oh yeah,
I'm actually quiet at NS.
I know it's weird but ever since going to NS, I've been very very very quiet.
Unlike my usual noisy self. As seen in YouthQuake and YLDP '07 and '08.
I've noticed that my post is very uninteresting.
So, how is it being 18?
Nothing much.
Just that I can now drink, smoke or watch 18+ movies.
But I only plan to drink, on special occasions. No smoking or porn for me. Hate it loathe it.
Celebrated my birthday in the hospital doing my medical check up.
And even though I had joint pains, I had to do 'a' urine test.
What the heck. URINE TEST!
And what do you know, they found glucose, protein, excessive erythrocytes and low pH.
Siao arr??? Think I got Diabetes and kidney failure ar?
Stupid MOs.
I passed my medical which also means that I'll be continuing my NS stint.
