Red flag! Red flag! (Those who didn't attend the Level 2 sessions probably won't know).

Krabi was nice but Ao Nang was too commercialised.
Like, the places there that were set up were like the kind that were set up by the mat salleh waiting to poach people's money. And there were more whites than other coloured people too.
Some pictures. Do look at my Facebook album though.
Oh yeah, thanks to global recession, the hotel was cheap. Cheap as in the price for one night was about 3000 baht a night for a five star hotel like this (normal price was 6000 baht or RM600).
So, hallelujah for global recession.

Be it...
So, there's only one thing to say about all of this.
Goodbye.

Looks like my blogging sabbatical got cut short.
SPM's almost finish.
So here's an update of what happened to me.
NO JS
Thats right. I'm not going for JS. Sorry to break it to you but I got NS-ed. Yeah, it's sad. But what can I do? I guess God works in mysterious ways. Kinda bummed since the final week of JS will be in Taiping. Yeah. I mean, it's in TAIPING!!!!! Well, we'll see what will happen.
NO SUSOM
Yeah. That too. Sorry, Sieh Jin. I wished I could go for that too. Would have been a good experience and eye-opener.
HELLO NS
No JS means hello NS! I'm going to Balik Pulau come December 28. Let me know if you're going there too. Will be nice. Though it seems weird that I'm being lead to NS instead of JS, it should be interesting to see what unfolds in front of me. Even though I'm still not fond of the idea of going for NS.
ALL OF THIS MEANS...
ONLY 1 MONTH OF HOLIDAY
Tragic. Only December as holidays. Then NS. After that, A-levels at Methodist College (MCKL). All of it seems so fast. Though I wish that I can rewind time. I'm gonna miss Taiping and school loads. I'll write my I miss my school and friends so much post later. Maybe after I finish my Accounts test.

So, to my blog.
Wednesday, October 29, 2008
The same thing probably happened to me last Sunday.
I brought my brothers to watch my to watch High School Musical 3 and boy, it is the cheesiest and corniest show I've watched in my entire life with the corniest and cheesiest lines.
And the cheesy and corny parts doesn't stop and keeps on coming.
So to all the parents that are out there, I think I know how y'all feel and I'm sorry if I've done the same to my parents as well.

Have an internal school canteen day to raise money to buy chairs and tables to replace the old chairs and tables that all the uncivilized students broke.
Target: Each club must come up with a profit of RM150 for the school.
At all costs.
No modal.
No help.
Just how the heck is siphoning up money from students going to help?
You know what we need?
No, it's not money.
It's to teach those ************* retards who break the ************** furniture a thing or two about being civilized or the importance about having dignity, 'coz they don't.
And about the Internal School Canteen Day, two words.
Especially when monkeys invade then hall.
And now when blind and a Speaker who seems to 'main-main' has added spice into the debates, now very stim lah.

No, it's not simply giving people who have no idea where Malacca is datukships.
C'mon. Keep guessing.
Give up?
Well,
The answer is..........
Changing names of well known roads like Jalan Alor to Jalan Kejora.
I respect you, DBKL.
Three cheers for the idiots who have nothing to do and want to do nothing but cause confusion among tourists.
Keep up the good work!
Mind changing the name of Jalan Chow Kit too?

5Sc1 Sleepfest.
Don't ask.
Everyone mysteriously fell asleep two weeks ago even though Mr. Oon (the teacher that teaches and doesn't make people fall asleep) taught.
Good thing Chong Ren wasn't there. He'll sleep waaaaaayyyyy before Mr. Oon would even start xD
4 A1s
4 A2s
1 B4
2 C5s
2 C6s
At least it's better than that cheater and his going to the toilet habit of his.
Especially with him conveniently forgetting to tell me that Accounts was set to an earlier date.
Well, what can I do.
What is done is done.
I've given my best to God.

Congratulations to Shah Rukh Khan on getting his datukship for whatever reason the Chief Minister of Malacca can think of.
Wonder why someone who has no idea where Malacca is will get a datukship.
You know who can also get a datukship as well?
He fits the bill. He has no idea where Malacca is and there's no reason for him to get a datukship as well.
Wonderful!

Verse:
You hold my every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease
Pre-Chorus:
I trust in You
I trust in You
Chorus:
I believe You're my Healer
I believe You are all I need
I believe You're my Portion
I believe You're more than enough for me
Jesus You're all I need
[Repeat Verse]
[Repeat Pre-Chorus}
[Chorus]
Bridge:
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
You hold my world in Your hands
[Repeat]
[Chorus]
This song gave inspiration to so many people. Many decided to put their faith in God to heal whatever sickness they had or any problems whatsover. But after Mike Guglielmucci revealed that he has been suffering from porn addiction and faking that he had cancer.
All hope was lost.
Don't you wonder why all of a sudden why one small problem like this, and BANG!, you're a villain. Everyone shuns you as if you're a scum and you don't have a place in heaven. Like what Mark Antony said in Julius Caesar,
'...the evil that men do lives after them. The good is oft interred into their bones...'
Well, we're all human. And humans sin. That's why Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Sure Mike Guglielmucci sinned. But admitting it is no mean feat either. I mean, most 'pastors' who sin like him get caught before admitting it. He just told his wife everything.
That's why we need the grace of God and His forgiveness. Not all of us are perfect. Today in this world most of us think of him as some kind of scum that's not worth living for all he's done. I felt that way too. But after some deep thought during devotion, I actually started to sympathize him. Everyone needs forgiveness. Like I said earlier on, Jesus died on the cross for our sins. And choosing to do what is also another thing that sets us apart. That's why it's great that God's grace is here like a 24 hour shop. We can ask for forgiveness all the time.
That's why no matter Mike Guglielmucci has done, we still need to forgive him.
Matt. 6:15 - But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

now let me sum up the 'political scene week'
Usage of ISA
With Tan Hoon Cheng, Teresa Kok and the oh-so-famous Raja Petra being detained under ISA, everyone kept wondering why the hell did they detain the reporter since it was just her job. Freedom of speech, I pressume. Though that puzzled lots of people, it also puzzled others why they detained Teresa Kok. She didn't do anything, obviously. Just that she was accused by some idiotic politicians about some mosque issues. But no, they believed those who accused her and detained her under ISA. Well, that's justice in Malaysia.
ISA to stay
Self-explanatory. They need it anyway if they want to shut those whom they beh syiok.
September 16: The bomb that didn't explode
The most potong stim thing to happen, to the Anwar supporters, of course. Like your usual Drama Minggu Ini or any other school drama, there was joy for some (UMNO) and despair for others (everyone else). The list of names made out of 30 blokes turned out to be nothing for than a letter of social concern. That's drama to you.
And what happened here generally...
Brutal murder of Lai Ying Xin
The most cruel thing to happen to a young girl. Future, what not, all gone. What did she do to deserve such a thing. (Apparently) She told off a guy who really, really liked her. Heartbroken, he burned her, murdered her, strangled her, dan lain-lained her. IF he really liked her, he would have done everything he could to make her happy. BUT NO!!!! He just had to KILL her just because he couldn't satisfy his needs/lust. Shame on him!!!!
Moral Paper to be delayed by 30 minutes
Obviously, the people up there don't give a fish for us squatters. I mean, why can't Pendidikan Islam be on the same time as Moral. THEY just HAD to subdue us squatters and drain us mentally. Well, that's Malaysia.
So there you have it. A weeks worth of news that's actually worth reading.
If you look at all these issues,
wouldn't it make a good story arc for shows like Alias and 24?
Heck, these plots might even win these shows some Emmys.
Well, there you have it.

How to sum up my week so far?
Lousy.
At least I still got one more week before I finish my trials.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna not do my Accounts paper well.
Especially when SOMEONE conveniently forgot to tell me there was a change in the timetable.
And that SOMEONE has been a fan of the school toilets lately.
Kinda rare for SOMEONE to frequent the toilets especially when he tries his best to hold his wienie during normal school days just to avoid the odour of our wonderful toilets.
But what the heck!!!
Like I can do anything about it.
And I've lost my NS form.
Hooray???
First one by May Fang.
If you could spend one ringgit in 5 minutes, what would you spend on?
A can of soda.

If she cheats!
If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
90% Pure chocolate.
If you had a choice to be rich or happy, which one would you pick?
Rich and Happy. I don't mind being not rich, really. Just enough to buy myself a diamond studded swimming pool.
If you have a chance, which part of your character you would like to change?
mmmhmmm...
Who is the person that you can share all your problems with?
Nobody.
How do you see yourself in 10 years time?
Working, supporting my parents, married/dating (God knows)
What is the one thing you love about yourself?
Everything (That's one word, right?)
If you can bring only one thing along with you to another world, what would it be?
My bible.
Then, Esther decided to tag me back with this.
WTheck???
3 Golden Rules. state 15 weird things/ habits/ little known facts about yourself. The 10 people I tag are to then to follow my footsteps and write their own 15 weird things/habits and little known facts.. No tag backs.

15. I can play the piano, the guitar and the bass guitar. But I do no drums.
I tag no one.
Kinda bored.

"...On the show cause letters to The Sun, Sin Chew Daily and Suara Keadilan, Syed Hamid said any reporting must look at the context of 'Malaysianness' "
"...on the context of 'Malaysianness'. "
What are you trying to prove?
And are you sure you had to send the reporter to ISA?

Politicians.
Don't you find it ironic that most of the politicians call the public to not be racially divided and unite and don't cause racial tensions bla, bla, bla.
But in actual fact , they politicians are the ones causing all the racial problems. Not us citizens!!!!
Just a word or two to Ahmad,
Where would Malaysia stand without us Chinese????
Or in other words, us non-Bumis???
If there were no Chinese or no Bumis,
Would Malaysia have been listed as one of those who won a medal at the Olympics?
What about squash?
Where will Malaysia be if there were no Bumis???
Why can't you idiots see us as one???
We're Malaysians!!!!

Ever wondered why bad things normally happen to good people?
I have.
Like what has happened to the Hwa family and Yi-Jien's disappearance.
Though we've all been praying for a miracle to happen and that Yi-Jien will be alright,
WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE?

Anwar Wins: As Expected (Headlines from NST 28 August 2008)
'....as expected'
Obviously, UMNO doesn't like Anwar whereas MCA doesn't really give a damn.
But then, do you think Anwar can wrest the PM title away from Abdullah?
If he's smart enough, then no.
But who knows.
Hailed as something even better than going to the movies.
Find out on September 16!!!!
ONLY IN MALAYSIA.

Go get it while stocks lasts.
Seriously, I don't see a point in reducing petrol by 15 cents a litre, unless you feel like spoiling the citizens.
Whether they are trying to buy people's votes for the Permatang Pauh election or not is another question altogether. But is it worth the trouble to lower the price of petrol?
Honestly speaking, we should do away with the subsidy. I mean, if parents are strict on their children on candy, the Government should also be strict for the sake of petrol prices.
I actually thought that it was a good idea when petrol went up to RM2.70 a litre. It really taught everyone to save petrol and not waste it like what mat rempits and idiots on bikes do.
But if we are to lower petrol prices by 15 cents a litre,
Are we going back to square one?
Saturday, August 23, 2008
So here's my two cents on UiTM and their quota.
Why complain about not letting in non-Bumis into UiTM.
Don't y'all have MARA, PSD, matriculation and a whole lot more of advantages to be enjoyed?
And proposing a referendum to oppose the proposal to not let non-Bumis into UiTM?
You scared to face us non-Bumis ar?
Oh, please.
Doing such a thing obviously shows that y'all lack the brains, guts and BALLS to survive when it comes to competition amongst everyone else. It's not like the majority of UiTM will be full of non-Bumis. You've got 90% AFTER ALL!!!
Come on, you guys don't have to fear us non-Bumis!!! Last year's SPM top scorer was in fact a Bumi after all. Doesn't that show that you guys have a stand to be equal as us too?
WELL FINE!!!
Do what y'all want to do!
Because I'm gonna do what everyone else does!
I'm gonna do my best and beg around until some university comes and takes me!
Then we'll see who's the best!!!
ME OR YOU!

The English word for wajib is compulsory.
Compulsory means required, mandatory or obligatory.
Then this thing in school happened.
Nadaraja (we don't really call teachers Mr. this or that when they're not around) came into my class to preach and get the matriculation form with his Samy Vellu BM, asking who didn't hand in the form. So I put up my hand.
He questioned a few of us and when it was my turn we had a shocked! The conversation was like this:
Nada: Kenapa belum antar boran? Susah sangat kah mau kasi itu boran?
Me: I haven't got my dad's paycheck.
Nada: Apasal satu payslip pun susah mau dapat? Saya sudah bagi lu 3 minggu tau. 3 weeks alredi! You tell me, you dowan the matrix is it harh!! (in a furious and threatening voice).
Me: I don't want to go for matriculation.
Nada: (shocked and pressing his balls)....................(silent) Apa pasal tak cakap awal awal?
(whole class thinking"wat the heck?? he said wajib)
Me: But sir, you said it was wajib.
Nada: (tekan bola again) yah.... saya yau saya cakap wajib. But u should have told me.. If u come to me n tell me then i would have been okay wif it and up to u. But u now only tell me, form oso buy d....
(whole class"yeah babe we learned a new word")
Nada: OK OK nvm.. because of YOU!! i gif u all one chance(the third of fourth time already) u all boleh antar pada hari ini tengah hari. U go get the payslip and pass it up today.BECAUSE OF YOU I GIF U CHANCE. why din tell earlier u dowan? u know ha. u make me make a fool out of myself u know.. i now very angry(thinking: haih 1 teh tarik not enof... recess mau hantam 3 teh tarik).. later if cant find me go gif to office(while i enjoy my teh tarik). [WTheck]
[Nada gets the heck outta my class]
Chan Leong: I say wajib but if you dowan then it's alright.
[Whole class laughs]
Now tell me.
Just tell me what the heck wajib really means lah!!!

Yep, you read it, ladies and gentlemen,
I'm one of the lucky ones selected to be chosen to go to NS Hell.
Others joining me at NS Hell are:
Wil Shern
Harin
Manee
William
Tian Jian
Sree
Chong Ren
Suresh Raj
Jason Lew
Siew Hoong
Xian Yung
Janarthan
Yee Sheng
Kenrick
Yew Cheong
Dinesh
Alden
Sophia
Sook Kin
Mun Suet
Ashwini
and a whole lot more.
From that list, about 15 dudes from my class (me included) out of 31 have been selected to serve our country/go to hell. The list might grow. Haven't confirmed who else is joining us to serve the country/get screwed up. Anyway, instead of moaning and groaning, why not look at the bright side. A measly pay of RM150 a month and food that taste like shit? Quite a bargain. Now my sis's quite damn happy since my selection has lowered her chance for NS.
Well, now I've got nothing to do but pray that I'll get second batch so that I can go for JS.
