Don't you know that we have to study and read up a lot. Especially if the students take subjects like Law and English Literature. How about those with Biology and Chemistry?
And don't you dare throw these mats away. I sacrificed so much. Time, time and more time.
Especially if someone is from Taiping, Ipoh, Sungai Petani or the rest of the world.
It's not easy living by ourselves, you know. Taking care of ourselves while doing stupid things like this.

And yes, these mats of yours that came from your brilliant idea doesn't look suitable to be placed on the table as placemats.
They're better off to be used as mats to wipe our filthy feet.

A few interrogations regarding Teoh Beng Hock's death.

Interrogation 1
Gobind said: "So, you couldn’t tell if his shoes were too loose for him as you didn’t measure his feet.

In this particular case the shoe was found far away from the body. How far was it? (Teohs right shoe was off his feet when his remains were found.)

“I didn’t measure,” Dr Khairul Azman, who is a consultant pathologist with Klang Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, said.

Gobind: It’s good to measure isn’t it? You cannot tell us how the shoe got there. You are in no position to tell us!

Dr Khairul Azman: It could have come off when he fell. Gobind then said that logically, if the shoe was tight, this would not have happened.

Gobind then asked Dr Khairul Azman how he reckoned Teoh had come out of the window and the pathologist stepped out of the witness stand and demonstrated how he thought Teoh had jumped. (While doing so, he demonstrated how he thought Teoh would have stood on the bottom ledge and gripped its top ledge.) When Gobind asked Dr Khairul Azman if there would have been shoe prints or hand prints on the window frame if Teoh had jumped off in that manner, the pathologist agreed, adding that there was a possibility the footprints were not noticed.

Interrogation 2
Gobind: How many MACC officers did you see when you were at the scene?
Zulaimi: About four to five. They were looking from a window of an office premises about five to six feet away from the body.
Gobind: Did you ask them how their witness could have fallen?
Zulaimi: No.
Gobind: Why didn't you ask the identity of the officer who had told you that Teoh was their witness?
Zulaimi: I was not instructed to.
Gobind: Isn't it important to do so?
Zulaimi: Yes. I forgot to do so.
Gobind: Did it ever cross your mind that Teoh could have been pushed or flung out of the building?
Zulaimi: Yes, but after investigations, we learnt that Teoh could have either fallen or was pushed from a window on the 14th floor.

Interrogation 3
Tan: Were there any notes in Anuar's official daily notebook 2009?
Zulaimi: There was only one (entry) on July 8, (on) Wednesday, which states "house/Putrajaya/office Toll RM".
Tan: Were there any notes on July 15 and 16?
Zulaimi: No.
Tan: So, from July 1 to 18, there was only one entry, which was made on July 8?
Zulaimi: Yes.
Tan: Besides Anuar's notebook, did you seize the notebook of any other officer?
Zulaimi: No. I only confiscated Anuar's, but if I am not mistaken, Inspector Shahzrin and Chief Inspector Zakiol did.

Let's read interrogation 2 again:

Moral of the story: Watch CSI. I'm sure Malaysian police can learn a lot from a show like CSI. Very realistic, it seems. Don't worry if you don't understand English. There's always subtitles.

Back in Form 4, all your efforts were scrutinised by most of 5Sc1 of 2007 as you were left all alone to come up with something for the drama competition. No guidance. No help. Just you. And yes, the drama was an embarassment to everyone.

But that didn't stop you from quiting. Last year, we were much better in terms of experience, maturity, you name it. And we got 2nd.

This time, you really made the whole school proud. Going as far as winning the States!!! With best script. You and Suresh are awesome. Who knew that all of this would actually come true? I'm sure you really got Mrs. Cecilia pissed off and jealous. After all this, you've really matured. I really salute you.

As a safety precaution against the A(H1N1) virus, Methodist College will close until the 1st of July. Yay!!!!

So much for my holidays. Studying, eating, sleeping, seeing old friends back in school, I've blown it. Not to say that its wasted but I blew it. Instead of writing something on my blog, I spent all my time on nothing but watching these shows.

Heard that there's some rampaging that's been going on in Kamunting recently.

My dad told me about this incident in Lake Gardens. Some guy came down from his bike and asked this person if he was Chinese or Malay. The moment he answered that he was Malay, that guy went over and slashed the poor fella's throat. Scary.

All hell breaks loose.

Back form Taman Negara but due to procrastination, I have failed again to deliver on time. Taman Negara is great! Never knew that it could have been done up so well. Instead of having to rough it out. I think its even better than Genting. Met someone on the way too.

Especially since I didn't get to throw that surprise party with the others for him as well.

Wonder whether it will work. But like what Chan Leong said, it's not the number of subjects that should be limited, rather the grading system. That's the main culprit for the Scholarship problem in the first place. Why discourage students from gaining knowledge by taking subjects like Literature in English, Bible Knowledge, Accountancy, Tassawur Islam and possibly any other subject under the sun. If the grading system wasn't as broken as it is now, wouldn't it make more sense? Everyone suddenly getting an A1 for their Add Maths when they were struggling for their lives before that just to pass. I'm sure all those who scored 20 A1s or 21 A1s probably got only 4 or 5 'genuine' A1s thanks to our wonderful grading system. Oh screw it.
