Anyone watched Conan O' Brien?
He's supposedly the funniest person on earth.

">

After watching countless videos, sketches monologues whatsoever, and this video. I've come up with one conclusion. Americans have a very bad sense of humour.

The man's simply not funny. Compared to other talk show hosts, Jimmy Kimmel, Craig Ferguson, even Jay Leno! That's what you call funny. I tried watching many videos again and again. I thought that maybe my sense of humour was off. Maybe try a smile or two. But I guessed that I don't have to worry whether my sense of humour is off.

My friends agree that he's simply not funny. Even Jay, whom Americans call not funny, can make me laugh, but spare the times when his jokes aren't funny. Sure, maybe how things handled weren't right.

This video is a prime example.

It's not funny! It's sick, it's crude, it's disgusting. But not funny.

This is real humour...

So Coco fans, pleases check your humour. It really needs a fix. I just feel angry that you're blaming Jay Leno when it's clearly NBC's fault.

Census: How many people live in your house?
My Aunt: 5.
Census: Okay. (Walks off)

Like that only ar?????
Never ask for income? Status? Nothing????
Not even what TV brand we use????

What the hell, man!!!!

This is not just a waste of money and a disgrace to civil servants in terms of work ethics. You're gonna use this bogus information for implementing future plans for the next 8 or 9 years???

No wonder the statistics weren't right for the percentage who wanted PPSMI abolished.

Welcome to Malaysia.

Rotten Tomatoes gave it an 8% for the movie.

Serves you right for not casting Asian actors! Hah! I bet Asian actors can put a much better show than having Whites in it.

It's insulting to know that M. Night Shyamalan decided to cast Whites in Asian characters. All this while I've chosen to remain silent about it but after seeing how much money the movie is making it seems like a big disgrace. All this money they're making shows that it's okay to discriminate Asians. I just dread to know that because of that they're planning to make a money spinning franchise out of it.

Watching the original TV series was so good because they had a show which had Asians as heroes. Not many Asian kids get shows like that to watch and relate to. Now we get this mess.

It would have been a crime to cast whites and blackface them as blacks. But from this movie I guess that yellowfacing whites as Asians doesn't seem wrong.

There are so many talented Asian actors who are fluent in English. Why couldn't they cast them?

It just feels such a shame that race discrimination is still happening today. But then again, it always has, right? Even in Malaysia, sadly.

I know that it's long overdue but...

I'm officially done with A-Levels!!! =D

No more F=ma.
No more Implicit Differentiation.
No more Kreb's Cycle.
No more Integration.
No more Free Radical Substitution mechanisms to remember.
No more studies for now.

But there're things I miss too.

No more Sen Yang and Philip stealing whatever I cook.
No more CS til 3 or 4 in the morning.
No more Pan Mee in Hing Ann.
No more quick trips to Mid Valley for simple things like grocery shopping or simply eating lunch.
No more people I heart in MCKL [You know who you are ;)]

Sure, MCKL had its shitty moments, but face it. Does anywhere else not have shit?

You might complain that its too strict when it comes to dressing. But to all you aspiring doctors, if you think that the dress code is an outrage, what about medical school? Medical school means no long hair for guys, no shorts, no dyeing hair. So this housemate of mine... I'm sorry to say but if you're going to continue being irresponsible(not washing your plates and CLEANING THE SINK), how're you going to be responsible enough to be a doctor?

You might complain that the teachers are lousy and that Taylors have all the good teachers. But then again.. Is there such a place that has only good lecturers? Because tell me. I would really want to go to that university. I have a friend who used to go to Taylors and she complained about her own teachers and wished that she was in MCKL. So where to go????

Despite all this, good or bad, it will always be part of us. We can choose to sulk about it. Or we can look at it and take it into good spirits and look forward to what's next.
